Bleeding: during an ERCP is usually intro the duct system itself (winding up in the GI tract) or the GI tract itself (Duodenum) It is a serious complication but has a low "MORTALITY" (patient death) rate since it generally subsides itself..... Hope this is helpful/Good Luck Dr Z
