Probably no STD: Syphilis can cause a skin rash that involves the palms and soles, but unlikely to cause burning; and syphilis is rare in women in your part of the country. Probably this is something other than syphilis or any other STD. But STDs wouldn't be on your mind if you weren't at risk, so get tested.
