A member asked:

Period started 9/30-10/5. then light period 10/12. then light period again 10/25. then period started today 10/28. normal?? what does this mean??

Light bldg. episodes: Assuming you had a "reguilar" and normal period 9/30 to 10/5, the light bleeding on 10/12 could be secondary to a twin ovulation or to sexual activity irritation of the cervix. Repeated light bleeding on 10/25 might favor cervical irritation. If your period began normally on 10/28, and the light bleeding returns next cycle, first get a serum HCG test, and if negative, see your healthcare provider.
