Consult Eye spediali: Red eye can be caused by one of many conditions, some of them can be serious. So you must go to see an ophthalmologist(Eye Specialist) immediately. If one is not available, you can go to an ER....at least they can check for infection(conjunctivitis) as one possibility; corneal abrasion can be another cause for the kind of symptoms that you are having.
