Not uncommon: Some people faint after any painful procedure, or sometimes just at the sight (or thought) of the needle. You should ask the doctor for a pre-treatment (pill usually) that will reduce your anxiety level and help you to relax if you need to repeat the procedure. S/he can also give you a medication at the time to stop the fainting reaction if it is severe. Good luck!
