Diarrhea for week now, labs done today were ok, no i didn't do a stool sample. can this be a part of gastroenteritis? feel worn down/tired/weak. help!

Usually: Infectious "gastroenteritis" is just that "gastro"= VOMITING "enteritis"- diarrhea ..You have the latter as a solitary symptom and this is usually termed "simple" diarrhea and is due to your dietary intake..Could you be eating unusual food (for you), ?. Full exam: Need your entire medical history and medications. Thymectony done for MG? If no fever , no blood in stool, no abdominal pain, rehydrate and take loperamide. Hows your appetite? If blood in stool or fever see a Gastroenterologisy for stool cultures, studies, ova and parasites. You may have gastroenteritis but we need more clinical history and exposures.
