Usually: Infectious "gastroenteritis" is just that "gastro"= VOMITING "enteritis"- diarrhea ..You have the latter as a solitary symptom and this is usually termed "simple" diarrhea and is due to your dietary intake..Could you be eating unusual food (for you), ?. Under more stress than "usual" Been travelling?? In any case your diarrhea will most likely pass... you might try an OTC medication. (PeptoBismol)

Full exam: Need your entire medical history and medications. Thymectony done for MG? If no fever , no blood in stool, no abdominal pain, rehydrate and take loperamide. Hows your appetite? If blood in stool or fever see a Gastroenterologisy for stool cultures, studies, ova and parasites. You may have gastroenteritis but we need more clinical history and exposures. Good luck and feel free to consult.
