Vaginal odor: Usual pre-menstrual odors are secondary to infection. Bacterial infections can produce unpleasant odors. Yeast infections are not dangerous, and are common just prior to one's period. If the odor is not unpleasant, it is probably a yeast overgrowth and is not serious. If this is irritating or produces itching, see your healthcare provider.
