A member asked:

I have a yeast infection under my armpit. why? and how do i help get rid of it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yeast infection: Yeast and fungi love warm moist places. Armpits, under the breasts and in the groin are common locations. Keep area clean and dry, especially after exercise. Do not use cornstarch in those areas since that may increase growth of yeast. Nystatin cream may help, use according to package directions. If not improving in 1-2 weeks, see your doctor.
