It should improve: It is not uncommon to experience withdrawal symptoms from medication that you have been taking. If your sleep difficulties are only related to the withdrawal, it should improve. Zyprexa can cause people to feel sleepy, so the switch could help with your sleep difficulty. If you continue to have trouble sleeping, consider other causes or try implementing good sleep hygiene practices.

Geodon discontinue: Serotonin discontinuation can last for days to weeks to even months: nausea, lethargy, flu like symptoms, disconnected feelings, emotional instability, dizziness, brain freeze/zaps, and even hopelessness. One would think that supplanting it with Zyprexa would alleviate the symptoms but it may not - ever. It is very sedating so increased dose should help. Geodon can cause intense restlessness.
