A member asked:

Testicle volume measured in mm (on results)by scan gives a volume of left side 7mls and right mls. is this normal size for an adult. what normal size?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Testicular volume is: the measured length x width x thickness in mms of the testicle or its comparison with a standard model of the testicle. It varies primarily by age and the way it's measured. If the information you provided is accurate, it is NOT normal for a 34 y/o male.. The lower limit of "normal" is 20ml, the average 30ml & the upper limit is 40ml. The man in question needs to speak with his doctor.
