Multiple facets : If you're taking these meds in order lower your BP or in order to prevent angina, would probably want some sort of stress test first. If taking for AFib and no symptoms would want Holter monitor first. Having stated this, it is my opinion that you may be taking a significant risk to your own life by starting such a medication without an in-person consultation with a medical professional.
