Advil may be taken by mouth for pain at a dose of 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours for a couple of days. If the pain is more severe, one may take higher doses, a person should loop their doctor in if that level of pain control is necessary. It’s also important to get in touch with your doctor as soon as you can because Advil and other meds like it may not relieve your pain at all or like Lyrica does.
