I was recently told that i have hpv and that i had to get a biopsy and go to the drs every three months after that. is that normal? and how do i know if i have low grade or high grade hpv? would the results of my papsmear tell me?

Discuss w/ your doc: First, having HPV is normal: not desirable, but almost everyone gets it. Follow your doctor's advice for follow-up testing etc, and nothing bad will ever happen (or will be detected and treated before it's serious). Probably testing has been done to know whether high or low risk HPV; ask your doctor. All this should be discussed with your doc, who can help more than a distant forum doctor.
