Not seen: Cromolyn sodium is the active ingredient in anti-allergy eye drops and nasal spray. It also was available in capsules that were inhaled to prevent asthma with a device called a spinhaler. It works as a mild mast cell stabilizer. It is available in many generic products. It is always possible that other ingredients may cause allergic reactions but allergic reactions to cromolyn are unheard of.
