What is the definition or description of: missed developmental milestones?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Develop milestones: We expect babies and children to be able to do certain things by certain ages. We know not every child is the same, and also have to take into account things like prematurity. For instance, most babies are pulling up on furniture and attempting to take a first step around their first birthday. If they get to 15-16 months and aren't doing it, we say that's a delayed milestone. Different areas too
