When a joint is out.: Basically a joint dislocation is when the joint whatever it is either a knee, ac joint ankle etc doesn't line up and shifts out of place and there is a deformity of that joint. Often times dislocations need to be reduced or put back into alignment by special techniques. Shoulder dislocations are common.
