Tolosa Hunt Syndrome: is a condition caused by inflammation of a major sinus, the cavernous sinus, through which some very important nerves and arteries pass. Early symptoms include : Persistent or recurrent pain on one side of the head or around the eyes. Impairment of some movements of the eyes. Loss of sensation of forehead. More symptoms develop as the condition progresses. The cause of the inflammation is unknown but it does respond to powerful anti inflammatory medications.
