Sjogren syndrome: Sjogren syndrome is an autoimmune disease and which inflammatory cells attack the salivary glands and other secretory glands making it difficult for them to function. Patient will have dry eyes and dry mouth. Patients are at increased risk for other autoimmune diseases and even lymphoma. This is an area routinely treated by rheumatologists. I'm happy to do a consult if needed.
