It's unlikely that: bloating is a sign of pregnancy in your case. Pregnancy doesn't cause symptoms until 7-10 days after conception when the embryo implants in the uterus. If what you mean by "shortly after", is "within 12 hours", My Way is 95% effective in preventing pregnancy. I understand your reasoning, but I can't recommend starting The Pill until a pregnancy test done 7-10 days from now is negative.
