Yes: It is safe if done with one's wife and if there are no pregnancy complications. As long as it is comfortable enough for both people, they can have sex throughout the pregnancy. It is also important psychologically for both people. If anything unusual happens with the pregnancy after sex, she can ask her Ob-Gyn doctor about it... but it usually wouldn't be caused by having sex.
