Check bp: It depends on blood pressure . Broken blood vessel may be caused by increased pressure in eye or high bp

Subconjunctival: Subconjunctival hemorrhage (SCH) often due to broken blood vessel that can occur from staining, high BP, being on blood thinners, rubbing eye very hard, or blood clotting disorders. Can you send a photo to be sure it is just a SCH? If it is a SCH it can take weeks to resolve but should completely. If still there, you need to see an eyeMD and be sure all is normal; sometimes blood work is needed.

Eye hemorrhage: This is likely a subconjunctival hemorrhage which usually resolves within a week depending on the size. It is generally painless although over the counter lubricant drops may make the eye feel better. See a doctor if it does not get better within a week, if there is a lot of swelling or eye pain involved.
