How long do it take for depo-provera to get out your system?

Up to 18 months: Depo-provera is intended to prevent pregnancy for 3 months after each injection. However, it may take up to a year and a half (18 months) for it to be completely gone. Until the body metabolizes the depo-provera completely the menstrual cycle may not resume.
