Ovulation: It is generally normal to continue ovulation during one's menstrual cycle even after having sexual relations. During ovulation, sloughing of the lining of the uterus results of passing of the ova. It is possible for pregnancy to occur as a result of sexual intercourse anytime before the beginning of ovulation. Using one or more methods of contraception will reduce the chance of pregnancy occuring.
