I am scared i have n.fowleri. jumped into a new york lake 10 days ago (8/26). i have excess burping, stomach pain, and ear pain, sometimes a headache.

Doubt it: The average time between exposure and onset of symptoms/death is 5 days.Severe,disabling headache is one of the first and continuous symptoms. If your that concerned go to urgent care. It is certainly something we worry about, but I doubt your pattern of symptoms is from that.

Relax: Between 1962 & 2016 there have been NO sase-reports of Primary Amebic Meningoencephalitis caused by Naegleria fowleri in the state of New York. The symptoms are very severe . REF: https://www.cdc.gov/parasites/naegleria/state-map.html
