A member asked:

I had my period march 26-31 and had another on april 8th and its really heavy.. also me and my partner are not preventing pregnancy?

Could be pregnancy: You should count the days from the beginning of one period to the beginning of the next to give your cycle length. Normal cycle length is 21-35 days for adults. Cycles shorter or longer than this are abnormal. < 21 days, see your dr to figure out why. Could be pregnancy and if you want to prevent pregnancy, talk about birth control options--there are many.
