2 difficulties with: this question. Pacemakers do not "perform" heart beats. They only emit tiny electrical shocks to heart muscle when heart contraction not electrically detected within time limit set in pacemaker programming. Electronic pacemaker initiated heart beats are always weaker because less well coordinated. No clinical research trial data exists to answer 1st questions; though zero basis to believe healthy.
