A member asked:

Been using propecia (finasteride) for 10 months and it feels like my semen is watery. is this normal and will it effect my partners chances of getting pregnant?

Need semen analysis: Some men taking Propecia (finasteride) will notice a change in their semen quality. There is not a strong association with male infertility however. Propecia (finasteride) blocks the production of DHT. You need testosterone for the production of sperm (along with FSH). The only way to be sure though is to have a semen analysis. Your local doctor typically can order a semen analysis.
