A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pediatrician: While the normal resting heart rate of an adult shouldn't exceed 90, children may normally have resting heart rates over 100. However I recommend a check up with your child's pediatrician to rule out other causes of rapid heart rates like fever, inflammatory conditions, heart muscle and valve disorders, thyroid problems, etc
