Crater: If this area is near your genitals, it could represent an infection from HSV2 (herpes), syphilis or chancroid. In other areas, it may be a remnant from a brown recluse spider bite, or simply the result from inflammation after a hair follicle was blocked. Definitely have a doctor look at that.
