Ebola: Ebola virus is transmitted by contact of body fluids of infected humans and some animals (bats, pigs, etc). The skin rash with ebola usually develops by day 5. It is from whats going on inside the body not from direct skin contact. Your skin is excellent at protecting from all sorts of horrible things. Breaks in the skin or when we touch things and then touch our eyes or mouth that bugs get in.
