Depends on reaction: Please tell us what kind of "allergic " reaction you had to ibuprofen. If it caused asthma, the only drug you may take is a Cox-2 specific one. If the reaction was hives or swelling, you may be able to tolerate another kind of NSAID (be sure to read the generic name of the drug). Consider consulting an allergist.
