New symptom: It is not unusual to develop cramping months to years after the first period. Cramps usually occur when periods are associated with ovulation. Severe pain, sexual activity or unusual symptoms will determine the need for further history & examination to include a pelvic examination. Assessment will also help rule out pelvic pain due to non GYN causes. Take care.
