Pregnancy dating: Yes that's correct. Pregnancy dating is always based on the first day of your last menstruation. Pregnancy happens usually two weeks after your menses. Therefore, if you are 5 wks pregnant (based on your last menstrual cycle) it means you conceived approximately 3 wks ago.
