i have a squishy lump in my anus. i took a pic of it. it doesn't hurt or anything just noticed it sticking out while showering. is it a hemorrhoid?

Probably: This may well be an external hemorrhoid. It can be nontender unless it has thrombosed. Other possibilities include an anal skin tag or partial rectal prolapse. Your physician or gynecologist can evaluate this in the office and advise you accordingly.

Likely: A hemorrhoid can be thrombosed (filled with blood) and thus harden and present as a firm lump outside of the anus. These usually resolve on their own. ... Read More
