Genital herpes: Your test results show you are infected with HSV2. That means you have genital herpes, even if you haven't had any obvious outbreaks of genital blisters, sores, etc. See your doctor and discuss antiviral treatment (e.g. valacyclovir) to help prevent transmitting it to partners. You need to always inform sex partners you have it, and use condoms consistently to also reduce chance of infecting them.
