Emergency contracept: In theory yes - since they both contain 150micrograms of Levonorgestrel with the microgynon also containing 30 mcg of ethynil estradiol. However, the side effect profile will be different than Plan B since there is the estradiol component. In a pinch you could use the microgynon but I know of no studies showing the efficacy. You need to use it before 72 hours. Good luck.
