A member asked:

I had my tubes removed about 6 months ago. i am late and nauseous to smells and certain foods . is there anyway i could be pregnant ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tubal ligation: should be close to 100% at preventing a pregnancy. Exceptions are not unheard of, but you should not worry as the percentage is very very very small that you will conceive again. But it has been known to happen. When you said "tubes removed" I understood for you to mean "tubal ligation" but if you actually had them removed then you should be able to conceive. Either way check a pregnancy test.
