A member asked:

Had unprotected vaginal sex with an hiv positive man, he got preejaculation in my vagina? will be able to test in august? scared, how big is the risk

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Post exposure Rx: If you were exposed with 72 hours see your doctor or go to an emergency room of a hospital to get post-exposure prophylaxis. If it is too late for that, get a HIV nucleic acid test and repeat the test in 6 months. It is not feasible to say how big the risk is. It depends in part on the viral load in your partner. If he is under treatment and has low viral load then the risk is low but not zero.
