Yes: Anytime, you suspect pregnancy, always a good idea to do a pregnancy test. Also, better to use consistent contraception if you want to avoid pregnancy

I spotted for 6 days. Cycle is normally 30 days but my period started on day 35 which was yesterday. The bleeding went from dark brown to dark reddish brown. I didn't take a pregnancy test because i wanted to be sure if it was my period coming on?
