Maybe pregnant?: Could be pregnancy, could be irregular menses. Wait to see if cycle occurs, if not check a home pregnancy test.

Is she pregnant?: Sometimes early in pregnancy there is a short unexpected episode like a period. These can be the times when the fertilized fetus is implanting on the wall of the uterus. It could be a miscarriage of an unviable fetus. If there are any other symptoms it may be best to get a home pregnancy test and then to see your obstetrician.
