I been late for about 5 weeks i started spotting now its like a light dark red/ brown smelly flow?

Late period: If you have been sexually active, check a pregnancy test even though you are having bleeding. Some women have spotting early in their pregnancies. If positive, see OB. If negative, track your cycles on a calendar and if they continue to be irregular, go see your doctor. One irregular cycle isn't anything to worry about. Nobody's period is perfectly regular all the time.
