3 day visitation: Most out of town visitors need to go home after 3 days and this appears to be true in your case. Your house (vagina) has had no out of town guests for over a year, and the visitor may have knocked over furniture (vaginal/cervical trauma) during his stay (brown discharge).Give the area at least one week to put the house back "in order" and if it is still a "wreck" (bleeding) see a GYN MD.
