Traveler's diarrhea: The key to avoid that is to be careful what you eat -you may want to stick to foods that are 'low risk' -such as one's YOU prepare yourself. Some foods are more risk than others as well- like seafood for example, Chinese food (recycled rice), buffet foods etc. Sometimes I'll just bring crackers or something from a package that goes easy on the 'gut'. An infectious diseases doctor can give vaccines
