A member asked:

My feet are normally cold and there isn't a lot of feeling in them. if i were to drop something on them, my reaction time is noticeably slower.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cold extremities: Some people have cold feet and hands because of vasoconstriction which is a spasm like clamping down of the tiny arteries in toes and fingers. This may be also due to anxiety, certain medications, low body temperature or room temperature, low blood sugar or underactive thyroid. If you note sluggishness and recent Cold intolerance, see your physician and get your thyroid checked.
