See below: The only major concern would be that of a possible "penile fracture" which is rupture of the fibrous covering (tunica albuginea) that contains the vascular plexus (corpora cavernosa). Uncommon injury due to blunt force or abrupt bending of an erect penis. Usually associated with sharp pain, a "popping" sensation, and diffuse swelling and bruising of penis. If suspected, requires urgent evaluation
