What are the side-effects of dialectical behavioral therapy?

Wallet shrinking: I know of no side effects from this treatment other than changing of behavior. Some might not like the changes but I suspect most would appreciate it. One side effect might be breaking up abusive and controlling relationships and decreased neediness. Which side are you on?
