Yes it does: Metformin is a great drug to control blood sugar in diabetics , if it is helping you ignore the smell and should continue , it is known to smell bad ( like fish ) when medication breaks down, a minor hindrance not a complication or drug reaction , if you really hates that smell ask your doctor to give different medication.
