Yes: The presence of cockroach is unhealthy since they carry diseases transmissible via food contamination. Some people become allergic to them leading to allergic disorders. Steps to do: seal all holes on the wall or door (cable , plumbing) , look for water intrusion in the house, keep all foods sealed and counters clean. Get an exterminator. In apartments, all units need be treated.

Roaches: are usually associated with "dirt" and can technically carry organisms and contaminate what they "touch" There are a number of household bug sprays which "advertise" that they can "control" the problem however a PROFESSIONAL exterminator is the only sure way of eliminating the problem! If you RENT your L:ANDLORD should provide this!! Hope this helps! Dr Z
