Easily. An ulcer is: an erosion of tissue. Vomiting is a symptom under control from mind→brain→body; no reliable relationship exists between tissue erosions & symptoms, including to the point of fatal bleeding. Any relationship varies widely from person to person & situation to situation; one of the big reasons that symptoms are just clues but never reliable or accurately diagnostic of what is happening.
