No: Gastrointestinal infections are contracted primarily from ingestion of germs that are contaminating something. You hate to think the food you eat might be contaminated (like the news story about Chipotle), or a dirty door knob on a cruise ship bathroom might lead to one of these infections...You WON'T get one of these just from walking outside in the wind. If you have vomiting/diarrhea call ur MD
